The category 2 Hitchall is approximately 32" between the bottom 1 1/8" pins and 16" up to the top 1"pin.  There is a 2" hitch receiver on the bottom for bumper pull trailers and another receiver on top for gooseneck trailers with either a 2 5/16" ball or a king pin.   Category 2 is the common size for 50-100 hp tractors.

Category 3 Hitchalls are a bit bigger at 38" between the lower 1 7/16" pins and 24" to the top 1 1/4" pin.  They have a 2" hitch receiver on the bottom for bumper pull trailers and another receiver on top for gooseneck trailers with either a 2 5/16" ball or a king pin.  Category 3 is a common size for tractors in the 100-150 hp range.
